Bersa’s Newly Discounted BC9PP [Shot Show 2019]

While not a new gun announced at Shot Show 2019, the Bersa BC9PP was on display. I had never held or shot one and was pleasantly surprised when I stopped by the Eagle Imports booth. This single-stack is Bersa’s first striker-fired polymer pistol and handing it just felt great. It has a comfortable grip and the wide trigger is something I am not used to but felt natural when dry firing it. The short reset was excellent as well.

The capacity is 8+1 and has an ambidextrous magazine release that drops the magazine smoothly when pressed. The barrel is 3.3 inches and has a micro-polished bore with polygonal rifling which is supposed to improve accuracy. I was unable to shoot one but will be getting one for testing and evaluation soon. The loaded chamber indicator is a nice addition as well.

The MSRP has just been reduced and Rafael said you should be able to find them for less than $300. At the time of this writing, I’m seeing them for around $250 in my area. Pending our full review, this really sounds like a great gun for the price, especially with the lifetime warranty it comes with. Be sure to keep an eye out for our review. And if you have any questions about it, let us know in the comments so we can make sure that we cover them in the review.
