Falkor Defense debuts The Standard rifle at TriggrCon 2018 (VIDEO)

Falkor debuted a new affordable AR rifle — aptly named The Standard — at TriggrCon 2018 last week in Bellevue, Washington. A Falkor representative described the new rifle as the “Chevy Corvette that every man can afford, compared to the Lamborghini and Ferrari” when comparing The Standard to the Alpha and Omega rifles the company has come to be known for.

In addition to a host of Falkor components, the impressive beast features a BA Hanson barrel chambered for .223 Wylde, 13.5-inch OAL transition handguards, a VG6 Epsilon muzzle brake, Griffin Armament M2 sights, MFT Battlelink minimalist stock, Griffin Armament C2E QD Endplate, a Radian Weapons Talon ambi safety selector, and a Hogue pistol grip.

With a 16-inch barrel, the overall length is 33.5 inches with the stock collapsed and weighs in at 6.35 pounds.  If it shoots as good as it feels (and it most likely does), it would be worth the $1,599 price tag.
