Smith & Wesson adds Crimson Trace laser, lights to popular handgun models

Smith & Wesson pairs Crimson Trace lasers and lights to some of its popular handgun models, giving gun owners more options when it comes to low light shooting.

Smith & Wesson announced the new laser/light models include: the M&P380 Shield EZ pistol with Crimson Trace Green Laserguard laser sight, the Smith & Wesson Model 642 CT concealed carry revolver with Robin’s Egg Blue grip, the M&P Bodyguard 38 with Integrated Crimson Trace Laser and the M&P9 M2.0 4-inch Compact pistol with Crimson Trace Rail Master Universal Tactical Light.

The M&P380 SHIELD EZ pistol with Crimson Trace Green Laserguard features Crimson Trace’s Instinctive Activation pre-installed at the factory. The pistol, created for concealed carry, sports a .380 ACP design that Smith & Wesson says is easy to rack, load and clean. M&P380 Shield EZ pistol with Crimson Trace Green Laserguard retails for $579.

The Smith & Wesson Model 642 CT Revolver with Crimson Trace Lasergrips offers a .38 Special +P revolver design. Outfitted with a stainless steel barrel and cylinder, the revolver is equipped with robin’s egg blue Lasergrips with Instinctive Activation and a snag-free, enclosed hammer. The five-round wheel gun features an MSRP of $699.

The M&P Bodyguard is a .38 Special +P revolver with integrated Crimson Trace Laser decked out with a gray, polymer grip. Boasting a serrated, ambidextrous cylinder release, the wheel gun can be used by lefties. The hammerless wheel gun uses an integrated red laser for discreet concealed carry and is priced at $539.

Rounding out the new laser equipped models is the M&P9 M2.0 4-inch Compact pistol with Crimson Trace Rail Master Universal Tactical Light. The pistol brings a striker-fired design to the table with 4-inch barrel and 15-round magazine. The M&P9 uses the M2.0’s features to include textured grip, interchangeable palmswell inserts, and crisp M2.0 trigger in addition to the factory mounted Crimson Trace Rail Master Universal Tactical Light. The pistol retails for $629.
